The top notes, although floral, are not innocent: Blue Lotus (the mystical offering of the Nile) and Mimosa induce an altered state of consciousness, opening the gates of extrasensory perception. Ylang-Ylang Extra and Bergamot seduce the heart and neutralize analytical anxiety. In order for this exploration to decouple consciousness from trauma, Valerian and Black Wormwood act as spiritual anesthetics, suspending fear and allowing the "descent" into the subconscious.
